Save the Date – Auditions for Annie! Our all ages summer musical!
Leapin’ lizards! The sun’ll come out this summer with Annie, the heartwarming story of a plucky orphan who sets out to find her family and ends up changing the life of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. Filled with beloved songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” this classic musical is a joyful celebration of hope, family, and the power of optimism.
And Annie isn’t just for orphans! In addition to our youth orphans and city kid ensemble, the show features a wide variety of adult roles, from the residents of Hooverville to the staff of Warbucks’ mansion and the colorful characters of 1930s New York City.

Adult Auditions (ages 18+ or grades 9–12 who feel best suited for the adult cast):
🗓️ March 16 & 17 | 6:30–9:30 PM
🎟️ Callbacks: Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 PM
For youth in grades 9–12, you may choose to audition in either the youth or adult auditions but not both.
To be in the youth auditions, you should be able to play between the ages of 6-15 for the city kid ensemble and 6-13 for the orphans.
Youth Auditions (2nd grade and up):
🗓️ March 9 & 10 | 6:30–9:30 PM
🎟️ Callbacks: Friday, March 13 at 6:00 PM
Youth auditions will cast orphans and the city kid ensemble.
City kid ensemble is open to youth performers of all genders, grades 2nd and above, and should be able to play between the ages of 6-15.
Orphans should be female presenting and able to play between the ages of 6-13.
We will be double casting the role of Annie and may consider double casting some additional orphan roles.
See note above for youth in grades 9-12.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will generally be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Rehearsals begin the week of April 6.
Some attendance allowances will be made for those involved in VACTs youth and/or teen productions/dance recitals in April.
Those involved in VACTs senior show will not be able to participate in Annie due to overlapping performance/rehearsal schedules.
