Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van - Tickets On Sale Now!

Welcome to another stellar season at the Neighborhood Actors Summerfun Repertory Theatre, A friendly little playhouse where, due to a lack of wing space, the company spends their downtime in the parking lot around an aging hippie/now turned techie’s van. Those looking for refuge at the asphalt oasis include: a stressed-out artistic director grappling for funding, a wanna-be diva who’s realizing her ingenue expiration date has passed, a board member’s nephew who thinks stage blood is “ART”, and his sidekick who thinks every show should have a kickline – including Glass Menagerie. These are just some of the egos and obstacles that fall into the lap of Mike, a nice-guy director who ends up with far more than he bargained for. Anyone who’s ever seen a show may know these people. Anyone who’s ever done a show may be these people. In the end, Two On the Aisle, Three in a Van continues to prove the old adage that somehow, some way, the show must go on. And it does… Just not always as planned.

This production features an all adult cast and runs approximately 2 hours with a 15 minute intermission.

Once Upon A Mattress - Tickets On Sale Now!

Think fairy tales are sweet and simple? Think again.

In the kingdom of Once Upon a Mattress, things are totally upside down. The king can’t talk (literally—he’s under a curse), the queen is a total control freak, and Prince Dauntless isn’t allowed to marry unless a princess passes his mom’s ridiculous “tests.” To make things worse, nobody else in the kingdom is allowed to get married until he does—which is a major problem for Sir Harry and Lady Larken, who have a pretty big secret of their own. 👀

Enter Princess Winnifred: loud, bold, and nothing like the delicate princess the queen had in mind. She’s quirky, funny, and just might be the perfect match for Dauntless—if she can survive Queen Aggravain’s impossible challenges.

With laugh-out-loud comedy, over-the-top characters, and plenty of big musical numbers, Once Upon a Mattress is a fairy tale flipped on its head, with outrageous royals, hilarious sidekicks, and even a princess who isn’t afraid to climb the castle walls.

This production features a cast of high school students, is appropriate for all ages, and runs approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, with an intermission.

Something Rotten, Senior Edition - Tickets On Sale Now!

Come see this fantastic musical performed by a cast of those age 55+! This abbreviated version of Something Rotten is adapted from the full Broadway show and is a humorous, irreverent love letter to musical theatre, set in the English Renaissance. What Spamalot is to Monty Python, Something Rotten is to Shakespeare. The musical pokes fun at Shakespeare, the theatre world, and the conventions of musical theatre itself. Creativity, sibling rivalry, gender roles, the struggle for recognition, and the joy (and absurdity) of making art are themes in the show.

Set in 1595, the story follows brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom, struggling playwrights in the shadow of William Shakespeare, who is depicted as a rockstar of the era. Desperate to outshine Shakespeare, Nick consults a soothsayer, Nostradamus (the nephew of the famous one), who predicts that the next big thing in theatre will be "musicals"—where actors sing their feelings. The Bottom brothers set out to write the world’s first musical, leading to a series of hilarious mishaps, misunderstandings, and showbiz chaos.

This production features an all adult cast of those age 55+ and runs approximately 60 minutes.
