Ariel, a curious young mermaid, dreams of leaving her ocean home to explore the world above. When she falls in love with Prince Eric, she makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch Ursula, trading her beautiful voice for the chance to become human. With the help of her friends Flounder, Sebastian, and Scuttle, Ariel must find the courage to follow her heart—and discover where she truly belongs.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. is an abbreviated version of a full-length show. The run time is approximately 60 minutes and features a cast of 6th–8th graders.
