Marsha Heuer
Marsha has been dancing since the age of four. Growing up, she studied ballet, tap, and jazz yearly and later added Javanese and Balinese dance to her repertoire. She has also been active in musical theater performing since age six. She began choreographing while she was still in high school, both for her dance team and for her senior musical. She has choreographed over 50 productions while working with Sun Prairie High School, Peter Quince Performing Company, UW-Platteville, Music Theater of Madison, Middleton Players Theater, Cambridge High School, Oregon High School, Dubuque Opera House, and most notably Verona Area Community Theater. She earned a BA from UW-Madison in International Relations, Southeast Asian Studies, and Theater-Acting Specialist; a BA from UW-Platteville in Secondary Education and Theater; and a Masters of Education from Viterbo. She works at Oregon High School as a social studies teacher and is a director/choreographer of their shows. She has received numerous Tommy/Jerry Awards from the Overture Center for both her directing and choreography. Outside of theater, she is an avid traveler with her family, and a cat lady by heart! :)
Nadine Patchin
Nadine began tap dancing at the age of three to help correct an injury at birth. Later, she would tap her way onto the stage as Nancy Twinkle in Little Mary Sunshine and most recently Louise in Holiday Inn. She has helped choreograph and teach tap to kids and adults for many years. Nadine honors the rich Black American history of tap dance. Her ultimate dream goal is to perform the Shim Sham Shimmy (Tap Dance National Anthem) with Coen and Cora Faber. A resident of Monroe, Wisconsin, Nadine served as a middle school teacher for 34 years, a hospice volunteer coordinator for seven years, has two amazing daughters, and spends much of her free time with her two grandsons. To Seniors, her message is: "Keep your heart a beatin' and your toes a tappin'!"
