Onstage in a Week: Senior Musical Theatre Camp (55+)
Spend a week this summer with VACT’s Senior Musical Theater Camp, featuring The Big Bad Musical.

VACT’s Senior Musical Theatre Camp offers adults 55+ the opportunity to step into a focused, week-long rehearsal process culminating in a fully staged production. Designed for those who enjoy performing, or are looking to return to it, this program emphasizes the experience of putting a show together in a collaborative, fun, fast-paced environment.

• Monday, August 10th-Friday, August 14th, 9am–4pm each day (with a lunch break).

• Cost: $200 (price includes all materials and a show t-shirt).

• Held at the Dee Baldock Performing Arts Center (VACT Building), 103 Lincoln Street, Verona.

• Follows a rehearsal process similar to a condensed production schedule, including auditions on the first day of camp, working through music, scenes, and staging over the course of the week.

• The week culminates in performances of the show for friends and family.

• No experience necessary, just an interest in the process and a willingness to jump in.

• If you enjoy performing, collaboration, camaraderie, and the energy of bringing a production to life, this is a great way to spend a week onstage!
