Verona Youth Dance 2025-26 Recital Information and Season T-Shirts
We are excited to present the Verona Youth Dance recitals this season, in April 2026! Our theme this year is “Lights, Camera, Dance! A movie-themed dance showcase taking iconic songs from movie soundtracks! Think red carpet, popcorn, and movies mashups! Dancers are NOT required to participate in the recital to be a part of dance classes, however dancers who wish to participate in the recital MUST purchase a costume (please continue reading this page for costume information).
RECITAL DATES AND DRESS REHEARSALS
We will be holding two full recitals, one for our younger students and one for our older students.
Both recitals will be held at the Badger Ridge Middle School Performing Arts Center on Thursday, April 23rd.
Dress rehearsals for the recital will be:
Pre-K and grades K-2: Dress Rehearsal - Tuesday, April the 21st
Grades 3-5 and grades 6-8: Dress Rehearsal - Wednesday, April 22nd
If you do NOT wish to participate in the in the recital, once classes being, please email the VACT Education Department at education@vact.org by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7th. Dancers who are not participating in the recital will still be a full part of their class, but will learn the recital routine for fun, instead of for performing at the recital, and will not purchase a costume or have a spot in the recital formation.
PLEASE NOTE: If costume costs are the reason for not participating in the recital, please reach out to the VACT Education Department at education@vact.org to discuss options. We don’t want any dancers to not to participate in the recital due to financial challenges.

OPTIONAL DANCE SEASON T-SHIRTS
We are once again offering an optional Verona Youth Dance t-shirt for $15 to celebrate this dance season. All orders need to be placed by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7th. Dance shirts are available to order at the link below.
If you wish to order multiple shirts, please complete a separate t-shirt order for each shirt. For example, select a size then add that shirt to your cart. Then return to the main order page using the link just above the t-shirt picture, and select your next size, then add to cart.

DANCE RECITAL COSTUME INFORMATION
Dancers who wish to participate in the Verona Youth Dance Recital MUST purchase a costume for each dance class they are in. Each individual costume fee is $50 and covers the cost of the costumes, tights, and accessories. If your dancer is in multiple classes the cost is $50 per individual costume, not total. For example, if you are in two dances, the cost would be $100 for two recital costumes.
If you have a child in multiple classes OR multiple children in multiple classes, please make sure the quantity matches how many costumes you will need. For example, if you have two children and each are taking two classes, then your quantity will be 4 (one costume for each dancer for each class). If you have one child taking 3 classes, your quantity will be 3.
Dancers participating in the recital must submit their costume measurements AND costume payments by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7th. Fees can be paid at any time before November 7th using the link below.

DANCE COSTUME MEASUREMENTS
Our staff will be taking costume measurements during class the weeks of November 10th and 17th. If you would prefer to measure your dancer(s) at home, please email lydia@vact.org for instructions. We will need specific sizing measurements of each dancer to order the correct costume and tights sizes.
